SafeArrival is a system for managing student absences. Families can report absences in advance using a mobile app, website, or toll-free phone line. These options are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our school’s Multicultural Liaison Officer (MLO) supports newcomer students and families with settlement services, navigating the school system, language interpretation, and more.

The OCDSB offers a number of exciting opportunities for students who want to learn more about the world. We will be holding a virtual information session for Grade 8-11 students and their parents/guardians to learn more about our International Certificate Program, international exchanges and studying abroad. Students and staff are currently collecting donations of gently used books for our ESL Open House and Big Bargain Book Sale happening later this month. Money raised from the Book Sale will be going to Ottawa Immigrant Services Organization (OCISO), a local group that supports our newcomers to the Ottawa area. Click "Read more" for more information.
