Resources

Student Services at Bell includes Guidance and Career Education, Cooperative Education and Special Education. Our team includes guidance counsellors, learning support teachers, educational assistants, an office assistant, guidance technician, multicultural liaison officer (MLO), psychologist and social worker. We also liaise with many other community agencies and organizations.


Educational Counselling - we can help you:

  • Select your secondary school courses

  • Fix a problem with your timetable

  • Discuss difficulties in learning, studying or organizing your time

  • Develop an educational plan to suit your abilities, interests and goals that considers educational and career opportunities following graduation

  • Navigate the college or university application process

  • Post Secondary Options

Career Counselling - we can help you:

  • Explore your options and suitability for various careers

  • Find sources of information on careers

  • Use programs like co-op to expand your knowledge of the world of work

  • Find part-time, full-time or summer employment

  • Learn what you need to know to get and keep a job

Personal Counselling - we can help you:

  • Learn more about yourself and others

  • Discuss personal concerns, whatever their origin, and come up with alternatives

  • Facilitate connections with other agencies and organizations

  • Anxiety info for youth
